Future Engineers

Future Engineers is an education platform that hosts and develops design challenges for young innovators. NASA and Made In Space are launching the first-ever Zero-G 3D Printer to space this year. To celebrate the launch of this 'In Space Manufacturing' revolution, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Foundation and NASA have partnered together to develop a series of 3D Space Challenges focused on solving real-world space exploration problems. Students can submit 3D models directly to the site for a chance to win prizes, including a 3D print on the International Space Station!

TANKEO's part of this project was interaction design and implementation of the competition site together with the awesome design firm Donkey Draw.

Trax & Spots

Trax Spots is an app that lets you log, share and find new tracks and spots all around you using your smartphone! The app is a complete action sports app and have numerous pre-installed sports.

TANKEO's part of this project was to co-design and create the user experience along with the custom made augmenter reality engine and visualization for the tracks and spots live view.

Mr Spendless

An application that finds deals based on you location. The deals can be anything from a restaurant deal to a travel deal, a retail deal to an event deal. The companies can easily create an account on MrSpendless.com and then add the amount of deals that their contract allows. The company can manage deals by using the administration site.

A Swedish market-consulting firm called White Elk commissioned the application.

TANKEO's role in this was to create the user experience for the service, co-developed the iOS version and developed the Windows Phone version.

Bensinjakt

Bensinjakt, or Gasoline Hunt, is an application that finds the cheapest or closest gasoline station based on the users location. The user can configure the area of interest, type of gasoline and also what companies that they’re interested in.

To keep the prices up-to-date the users can choose to either update the prices manually or to take a photo of the price board at the station and send it in to the server for an automatic update. 

The application was one of the top-selling iPhone applications in Sweden in late 2009 with over 7000 AppStore downloads and over 2000 Palm App Catalog downloads. The service was also released on the beloved but sadly discontinued Nokia N9 Meegoo platform.
